Wedding Photography Northern IrelandSo this is just part one of two! Laurel & Diego travelled all the way from L.A to get married in Ireland with a few days pit stop in Iceland. This was a two day event for me and Lindi (who was on film). Their wedding was at the stunning Belle Isle Castle where all their friends and family from America were staying... but before that we went on a road trip for a few shots to The Dark Hedges , Giants causeway and Dunseverick Castle . It was epic !! Day one ! See Below

Wedding Photographer Northern IrelandHere's a little fly through of how Alex & Stephanie's wedding day at Ballyscullion Park went ....one of my all time favourite venues . These two were incredible to work with and so much fun from start to finish ....ohhh and if you're looking for a wedding venue please dont look past Ballyscullion Park or you'll be missing a treat . I'll let the pics do the talking. Lucy & Jasper ....what a wedding.....what a couple! We (my wife Lindi was also on videography duties) had so much fun with this couple with perfect weather in one of our all time favourite wedding venues.....The Mill at Ballydugan. Here's a little from their website to give you a feel for the place........ "Ballydugan Mill is a beautifully restored 18th Century Flour Mill, just outside Downpatrick, full of unique charm and character. Originally built in 1792 and respectfully brought back to life by the current owner, Mr Noel Killen, the quiet countryside setting of this rustic romantic venue is perfect for any special occasion" Rustic, unique charm and character in spades!! Every corner of the place has photo opportunities. I love doing these fast slideshows as it allows me to show every single shot from the wedding and it gives you guys a much better idea of what you get when you book me . And not to forget about some of the pros involved Photography - Stuart Macrory Photography & Film Videography - Stuart Macrory Photography & Film by Lindi Celebrant - Celebrant Michael Hair - Dani Belle Make up - Brenda Valentine Anyhow here it is ....blink and you may miss it. "Our weddings - peaceful, romantic, majestic - a place of your own
Killeavy Castle Estate - where history, nature and luxury create the perfect setting to bring family and friends together in celebration. Killeavy Castle, the centrepiece of our 365-acre Estate, can be entirely yours with exclusive hire of the reception rooms and castle pavilion, plus accommodation for your wedding party in the four guestrooms upstairs" It's always exciting getting to a brand new venue for a wedding photographer. But when I arrived at Killeavy Castle I was totally blown away by the place. Dana & Paul got married in a quaint little chapel near their home town of Dundalk before heading to this extremely well chosen venue. As I say getting to a new venue is always great for us photographers as it really gets the creative juices flowing....a blank canvas so to speak. Outside ....inside and all around this place is just incredible. Anyhow I'll let this small selection of photos do the talking but I would like to thank Dana & Paul for choosing me to be their photographer ....I enjoyed every single second of their day. Today is bitter sweet as it sees the start of a new year which is going to be our busiest year on record ......but then, thats 2023 over ....what was one of our best wedding seasons ever. Im sad to see it go but super excited to see what this year brings. 2023 saw me at some amazing venues and locations, meeting amazing couples and their families .....Ive met some life long friends from 2023 and I, still after almost 13 years have to remind myself this is my actual job! Anyhow here's some of the people below that made my 2023 what it was. 2024 is pretty much fully booked but I may have a select few dates free in the winter months....2025 filling fast. Wedding Photography - La Mon - Orange Tree House - Tullyveery House - Clandeboye Lodge - Killeavy Castle Estate - Four Seasons Carlingford - Dunadry Hotel - Limepark - Galgorm Resort - Finnebrogue Woods - Larchfield Estate - Leighinmohr House Hotel - Culloden Estate & Spa - The Millhouse Slane - Corick House Hotel - Jacksons Hotel Donegal - Harrys Shack - Green Holiday Cottages - The Wool Tower - Hinch DistilleryThere's a very very small number of venues that just feel like home and The Clandeboye Lodge Hotel is definitely one of them for me. I know the place inside out and come rain or shine I know exactly where to take photos. I've got to know all the staff really well and you will always be super looked after here.....these guys are proper wedding experts! There's not a lot I can say about Jordanne & Tristan without using all the cliches but it's all true! I loved photographing these two and their families in one of my top venues and can't wait to get back here many times in 2024. Clandeboye Lodge Wedding PhotographyThese two !
Michael & Jessica choose to have their wedding at Green Holiday Cottages. This was our first wedding so we didn't know what to expect. We headed do to meet these guys a few days before their wedding and to have a bit of a scout out . OMG! what an incredible place . Everything and I mean everything was perfect about the place . Ill let the photos do the talking and Ill drop a link below to check this place out. When Gabby & John asked me to photograph their wedding at the Limepark wedding venue Ballymoney it was the enquiry I was waiting on.
I had heard so much about the Limepark from fellow photographers that I knew I had to get there. Well.....It didn't disappoint! Gabby and John choose to get ready at the accommodation provided by the Limepark and who could blame them... I can honestly say it is the nicest accommodation I have ever photographed wedding preps in...........I was like a child in a sweet shop. I loved everything the Limepark, the location, the areas to use for photos, the staff, the food, the food and did I mention the food? It's couples and venues like this that remind me why I love this job so much and get me telling myself, "Yes Stuart this is your actual job" Anyhow.... if you have a minute or two why not have a look at a few sample images below and if your looking for a venue I urge you not to look past the Limepark........ohhh and I'm so happy and excited to say I've been booked quite a few times to shoot here in 2024. Why not check them out limepark.com/ I love doing these fast and furious slide shows .....but its hard work keeping up. Here's one from a stunning wedding I covered in the summer, it was at a private venue on Strangford Lough. |
